Mr. taco is a tiny little place on a tiny little corner far away from everything. That being said, it was the best eight dollars. I spent on food in it very long time. I had Carnitas tacos. I was going to order three but for some reason settled on to, that was a good decision. It did somehow managed to get both tacos in, but I drove away stuffed. The salsa was great. The meat was cooked perfect crunchy but still tender. My tacos came out full and big and hand-delivered by the proprietor. I saw someone order fish tacos and watched his they ate. Look like they were having exactly the same experience. I don't know why all these years with all the times I've driven past, I had never stopped in. Mr. Taco, very well done.
From a Mister Taco veteran: everything is good, but first timers should get a San Diego burrito with asada, and use that little cup of picante sauce they give you. Get a large cup of horchata. You'll be back. Ambience is homey. Service is A+. Food is the best Mexican food I've had. Been going here for years, never once disappointed.

My wife and I love Mister Taco and try to get over to that side of town(McGees Corner) as often as we can.Today we drove from Cottonwood to Burney and stopped on the way back.The food is great, we forgot it was Taco Tuesday, so we got the 4 tacos for $10 special....awesome! Our favorite thing on the menu is the Carnitas Burrito---it's huge and tons of meat....best deal in town!! Location is easy access, plenty of parking--inside of picnic tables outside. Food was great and service was great and affordable......what more could you ask for------stop by there today!
Tacos were amazing! Best street tacos I've had in ages. Highly recommend! Hoping they re open a new location soon.
